Established in 1954, the former factory was one of the 156 key projects built in the first “Five-Year Plan” period, honored as “cradle of the cemented carbide industry in China”. Today ZCC has grown into a large cemented carbide production, R&D, operation and export enterprise under China Minmetals Group, which is a Global Top 500 enterprise.
Abiding by the quality policy of “stressing on science and technology, being strict in management, quality foremost, making Diamond Brand products completely satisfy customer demands”. ZCC has passed the certification of quality control, occupational health safety and environment management systems. ZCC mainly manufactures six product series, including metal cutting tools, mine excavating & petroleum drilling tools, hard materials, tungsten & molybdenum products, tantalum & niobium products and rare metal powder products, which are widely used in such fields as metallurgy, machinery, geology, coal, petroleum, chemical industry, electronics and textiles.
Following the operation principle of “world’s tool, sharp tool for Wealth”,ZCC makes its best to satisfy the customers, offer technological service and enhance the market guarantee capability. With a multi-level and multi-channel global marketing network, ZCC has set up sales branches in Germany, USA and other countries, accomplished “Diamond Brand” trademark registration in 60-odd countries and regions, and exported its products to 70-odd countries and regions in the world.
ZCC always takes the strategy of “revitalizing the enterprise through science and technology” to improve the capability of independent innovation. ZCC has national-level cemented carbide key laboratory, China non-ferrous metal industry cemented carbide quality inspection station, state certified enterprise technology center and industrial product quality control and technology evaluation laboratory, and has been affirmed by the state as national technology innovation demonstration enterprise and national intellectual property superiority enterprise. In addition, ZCC has hard material R&D center, cutting tool R&D center and micro-drill R&D center with top level in China. ZCC has undertaken a large number of major sci-tech projects such as national key plan project, national innovation capability construction project and national sci-tech support plan, as well as national strategic innovative product and key new product project. ZCC has obtained 848 valid patents, 385 invention patents. In recent 10 years, ZCC has formulated or revised 85 national standards and industrial standards. As the presidium member and chairman member the Cemented Carbide Branch of China Tungsten Industry Association, ZCC is responsible for organizing and managing the academic journal Cemented Carbide, which has fairly big influence and authority in the cemented carbide and superhard material field of China, leading the development of Chinese cemented carbide industry.
